Letter: Tanisha Harris deserves your vote

By Shelley Houle, Vancouver
Published: October 20, 2020, 6:00am

As an educated woman who believes in the power of public education as a great social equalizer, I am always on the lookout for women as leaders in our community who’ve championed work in our community, business, medicine, law, and education. Women have been traditionally underrepresented in elected and executive-level positions in society. I am excited for the opportunity to vote for Tanisha Harris, candidate for 17th Legislative District representative. Harris is a powerful community advocate and champion for children and is most deserving of your vote.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
