Editor’s note: The body of Terri Kehrli has been recovered from the lake.

The Camas Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding a Vancouver woman who went missing after kayaking on Lacamas Lake.

Terri Kehrli, 56, was last heard from Sunday when she sent a text message photo of her kayaking on the lake, according to the police department.

Her vehicle was located Tuesday at the Leadbetter Boat Launch, police said, and her empty kayak was found floating in the lake.

“Due to the circumstances, we are very concerned for Terri’s welfare,” the police department said in a news release.

Police are searching for Kehrli, and the Clark County Sheriff’s Office Marine Unit has been activated to assist.

Kehrli is described as white, standing 5-feet-4-inches tall and weighing 125 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information about Kehrli’s whereabouts should contact the Camas Police Department at 360-834-4151.
