PORTLAND — Portland General Electric Co. on Friday reported a third-quarter loss of $17 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
The Portland-based company said it had a loss of 19 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 90 cents per share.
The electric utility posted revenue of $547 million in the period.
PGE expects full-year earnings to be $1.40 to $1.60 per share.
PGE shares have dropped 29% since the beginning of the year. The stock has dropped 30% in the last 12 months.
