Letter: Support Tanisha Harris in 17th

By Lisa Henry, Vancouver
Published: October 31, 2020, 6:00am

Recently I was shocked to open my door last week to a campaign worker for Vicki Kraft, who rang my doorbell mask-free and chose to stand about 3 feet away from me.

I admire and support all who work to elect the candidates of their choice, but find this recklessness on the campaign’s part to be extremely problematic. I have recently read Ms. Kraft’s disappointing remarks on COVID-19 in The Columbian. As a relative of a Vancouver family currently struggling to recover from COVID-19, I am truly disappointed in my state representative. As for myself, I will be voting for the science-supporting candidate, Tanisha Harris in the 17th.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
