Letter: Support James for county council

An opinion piece in The Columbian stated that looking to the future, the coronavirus pandemic would transform American society in ways we cannot yet fathom (“In Our View: Pandemic spurs innovation, transforms society,” The Columbian, Aug. 25).

Locally, the Clark County Council plays a big role in our future, which is why District 3 voters need to elect Jesse James. Unlike his opponent, but similarly to John Blom, Jesse has an informed view of the issues of the day, an open mind on how best to move forward, and a willingness to work cooperatively with fellow councilors (regardless of political preferences) to serve the common good.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
