PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center chaplains will host a Service of Remembrance on Oct. 10 to comfort local families grieving the loss of a child.

“This is a time to remember the little ones, to support their families and any families who have experienced the death of a child,” said Susan Lanford, director of mission and volunteer services for PeaceHealth’s Columbia Network.

The service starts at 10 a.m. Oct. 10 in the Little Angels Memorial Garden at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, 1101 N.E. 112th Ave. For more information, contact PeaceHealth Southwest Spiritual Care at 360-514-2257.

Further north in Longview, PeaceHealth St. John Medical Center chaplains will hold a second service 11 a.m. Oct. 14 at Longview Memorial Park, 5050 Mount Solo Road. Contact 360-414-7575 for more information about that service.
