Letter: Vote for forward-thinking council

By Paul Speer, Vancouver
Published: September 29, 2020, 6:00am

While national politics have taken a lot of the oxygen out of the room, in November please remember the impact local elected officials have on us in Clark County. Reminding me of the days of M&M, the Clark County Council is in the news far too much lately, for in some instances actually damaging the community, not for its leadership or governance. The council needs open-minded individuals like Matt Little and Jesse James who will listen, represent the needs of the entire community, and work well with others to move us forward.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
