Letter: Be patriotic, wear a mask

There is a very simple solution for all of those that claim they are patriots and or citizens of the United States of America. If you want to support our troops as so many claim they do, then follow the military lead on this issue. Check out the regulations cited in “Here Are the Rules for Wearing Face Masks on Military Bases” on military.com.

Any and all that want to show their true patriotism should for the good of the country follow the example of our military. Treat yourself and all other Americans with respect and show your true patriotism by wearing a mask if not for your own protection, then for the protection of others that may be around you. This should be the American way! Good enough for the troops, then good enough for all Americans.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
