I wanted to write a brief letter in support of the re-election efforts of Vancouver Mayor Anne McEnerny-Ogle. She has done a masterful job of guiding the city through a very tough time. She’s been sensitive to the personal needs of the citizens while not losing sight of the critical importance of a healthy downtown economy.
Unlike mayors in neighboring Oregon communities, Mayor Anne didn’t turn her back on the business community; instead, she looked for creative ways to support businesses and was actively engaged on a daily basis with the owners. It would be a huge mistake to make any moves away from the kind of strong, confident leadership that Mayor Anne provides Vancouver. Re-elect Mayor Anne!
