Letter: Remove campaign signs

The political campaign is over. Local (city of Vancouver and Clark County) candidates, whether they were successful or not in their respective races, need to remove political signs from our streets ASAP. If they are not removed in a timely manner (i.e., two weeks after the election), the parties responsible should be fined (heavily) for littering.

I believe there’s a law on the books for this already; why is it not being enforced?

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
