I agree that the right to vote is very important to all. A recent letter mentioned three different things that Jaime Herrera Beutler was responsible for voting for that he did not agree with. Let’s take them one by one.
One, the toll across the I-5 Bridge. Many people daily cross that bridge for work. I drove several years to my job there and now I am retired. No toll. How about when you have to drive over to go to the airport to pick up friends, family or just to get on a plane to go somewhere (Yes, I know you can also use the I-205 bridge)? Or many of us have doctors that we need to see. Do we pay for that too?
Two, many mothers work and it is especially hard when you have a baby and you want to try and give it the best you can. If you are at work, you need time to pump for breastfeeding later when you get home. Let’s take care of those moms (We care more for those babies than the abortion clinics do).
Three, yes, we love our salmon and we will do what we have to and keep them in our great state of Washington. Thank you Jaime, you go go go.
