The Clark County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating a missing 92-year-old Battle Ground man who didn’t return home from a Tuesday appointment in Vancouver.

Richard Anthony is described as standing 5-feet-9-inches tall. He is bald with brown eyes, and was last seen wearing jeans, a dark sweatshirt and possibly a blue military service baseball cap.

He is driving a red 2007 Chrysler 300 with Washington plates 493YVN.

Anthony’s family reported him missing around 6 p.m. Tuesday, according to the sheriff’s office. He left his Battle Ground house around 9 a.m. for his appointment.

He asked law enforcement in Camas for directions to the freeway around 2 p.m. He told the officer the route he was going to take to get home and appeared coherent, a sheriff’s office news release stated.

Anyone who sees Anthony or his car is asked to call 911 and reference case #21-010411.
