Letter: Bad behavior crosses party lines

Seeing all the vitriol and character assassination directed at Sen. Joe Manchin reminds me of a recent president who tried to destroy our democracy. These days, does the party make any difference in behavior? From my experience in a large organization, I found that burning bridges out of anger did not help when you had to go back to that person for help and support. I wonder if some in the Democratic Party just put their entire agenda in the ditch.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
