Letter: Don’t subsidize child care costs

Sen. Patty Murray authored a child care bill that will “last 10 years and would cost more than $752 billion.” She stated that parents “won’t have to go bankrupt just paying for child care.”

Having children is a choice that has financial consequences. It should not fall on taxpayers to subsidize people who choose to have children.
