Clark County reports four new COVID-19 deaths since Friday

Public Health also reports 308 new cases over three days

Clark County recorded four new deaths from COVID-19 and 308 new cases since Friday in data reported Monday by Clark County Public Health.

The four fatalities were a woman in her 70s and three women age 80 or older, all with underlying conditions. Their deaths bring the total from COVID-19 in Clark County to 186. Sixteen deaths were reported last week.

The 308 new cases push Clark County’s total number of COVID-19 cases to 17,164. The three-day average works out to about 103 new cases a day, up slightly from the average of about 94 cases per day reported last week.

The number of active cases fell to 656 from 689 on Friday. Those cases are still considered contagious and are still in their isolation period.

Hospitalizations were mostly stable, with 52 people hospitalized with COVID-19 in Clark County, up from 50 on Friday, and seven people hospitalized awaiting test results, the same number as Friday. The percent of ICU beds occupied held steady at 89.1 percent.
