Letter: Distribution is frustrating

Yes, these are hard times in the day we live in. COVID-19 is most likely in the front of all our minds as we hope for our turn in line for the vaccine.

I am frustrated by the way the vaccines are being distributed. I have both my parents, well into their 90s. Mom has cancer. Dad is 97 and the best caregiver ever! My question is simple, but needs to be answered: Why are elderly people not first in line? Aside from the first responders, do they not matter? Well, they should! All you line-jumpers should be ashamed!

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
