The Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified a man struck and killed last week while walking across Interstate 205 near the Mill Plain Boulevard interchange.

Jeremy W. Hendrix, 44, of Vancouver died from multiple blunt force injuries due to a vehicle versus pedestrian crash, according to a medical examiner news release. Hendrix’s manner of death was listed as an accident.

A bulletin from the Washington State Patrol said Hendrix was in the northbound lanes, crossing from the right shoulder to the left shoulder at 10:37 p.m. Wednesday when he was struck by a 2011 Chrysler 300 driven by Benjamin Moldovan, 42, of Brush Prairie.

Hendrix was pronounced dead at the scene.  No one in Moldovan’s vehicle was injured, the bulletin said.
