Letter: Biden has a mess to clean up

I must reply to Robert Kerr’s letter on Feb. 19 (“Biden already failing,” Our Readers’ Views). He stated President Biden’s motto is “Stupid Does Stupid.” How sad.

Biden’s been in office for a month and a half; Trump was in office for four years, and set this country back by 50 years. Biden is trying to help us through the pandemic, addressing global interests, global climate change, recovering from the Trump-incited insurrection, and trying to maintain sane press conferences. Speaking from prepared notes is not new, and makes conferences run smoothly.

President Biden and the Democrats have faced extreme difficulties, but have managed to proceed with the best interests of the general public. President Trump was and is a sick man, and his followers are delusional and do not know the facts pertaining to his presidency. We can make America great again when the criminals are punished and we follow the rule of law and work together with all races.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
