Letter: Police reform is needed

We need more accountability in police departments. Personally, I think a good way to help this issue would be to outsource disciplinary hearings for cops to an outside law firm, so that there would be less of a danger of confirmation bias and infractions being swept under the rug.

Police brutality is a continuing issue today, and while I’m sure there are many contributing factors that are making it so, we need to rethink the framework out of which they’re operating.

I’m just so tired of all of this violence, and we need to make changes soon.
