CLARK COUNTY — Clark County Quilters held their 45th annual Quiltfest Northwest quilt and fiber arts show virtually between Nov. 12 and Dec. 31. Lin Hill, show chairperson, said that more than 2,000 people attended the online show during that time. “It took many volunteers to transform the show from a live show originally scheduled for April 2020, then moved to November, into a virtual show,” a news release said. Results were announced at the Jan. 14 Guild meeting held via Zoom. Best of Show was awarded to Lynn Czaban for her portrait quilt titled “The Memories that Remain.” The President’s Choice selection was “Creme Brulee,” made by Bonnie Keller. Best Use of the Show Theme, which was polka dots and spots, was awarded to Janice Harding Harris for her quilt, “Miss Dottie’s Garden.” The Quiltfest NW show is still on display at www.quiltfestnw.org. The next show is scheduled for Oct. 21-23 at the Clark County Events Center at the Fairgrounds.
