In Our View: Washington under no obligation to accept coal

The U.S. Supreme Court’s decision not to decide is a victory for the environment, Washington’s state sovereignty and the future of a green economy.
The justices on Monday declined to hear a case brought against our state by Wyoming and Montana. Those coal-producing states argued that Washington violated the Commerce Clause of the U.S.
