The Stanley Cup is coming to Portland and everyone is invited.

Former Portland Winterhawks scout Josh Dye won his second consecutive Cup as a member of the Tampa Bay Lightning’s hockey operations department earlier this month and is using part of his day with the Cup by sharing it at Memorial Coliseum.

Dye was a scout in Portland for eight years before making the jump to the NHL.

The Cup will be on view from 5-6:30 p.m. Monday, July 26, and fans are invited to come see it and take pictures.

The Winterhawks encourage those who are attending to park in the Garden Garage and, of course, bring a camera.

When arriving, head toward the main entrance of the Coliseum, where lines will be formed.

The Stanley Cup was a visitor to Vancouver in August 2011 after the Boston Bruins’ victory. Vancouver resident Tom McVie, a scout for the Bruins, brought the Cup to the Mountain View Ice Arena.
