6 early morning fires in N. Portland prompt arson investigation

PORTLAND — Firefighters extinguished six vehicle and structure fires Wednesday morning in North Portland that are being investigated as arson, Portland Fire & Rescue said.

The fires were set at 7350 N. Greenwich Ave., 5501 N. Interstate Ave., 5505 N. Interstate Ave., 4284 N. Maryland Ave., 798 N. Failing St. and 3836 N. Borthwick Ave.

The bureau did not provide any additional information about the size of the fires or what damage resulted.

Investigators are seeking any video footage from the area that might help in the investigation. They ask anyone with video or information to call 503-823-4636.
