The Battle Ground City Council is seeking applicants for an open council position.

Councilmember Mike Dalesandro resigned June 8 after accepting a job out of state, according to a city news release. The term for his seat, Position No. 5, expires at the end of this year.

Battle Ground residents who have lived in the city for at least one year and are registered Clark County voters are eligible.

The application, and more information, is available at www.cityofbg.org/council-application or Battle Ground City Hall, 109 S.W. First St. Additional information can also be found by contacting City Clerk Kay Kammer at 360-342-5008 or kay.kammer@cityofbg.org.

The deadline is 4 p.m. June 30.
