Letter: Support Blom for city council

By Kathy McDonald, Vancouver
Published: June 20, 2021, 6:00am

I write this letter and encourage voters from Vancouver to support John Blom for city council.

John understands how arts and the presence of a vibrant community is a part of economic development. John understands that businesses want to establish themselves in communities where their employees want to live, and employees want to live in vibrant, healthy and cultural communities.

As we focus on rebuilding our economy, let’s support the arts in our community and elect a councilor who will create a thriving arts community in our city. He has the knowledge, skills and understanding to create a healthy and economically strong community.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
