Waterax has been awarded a $241,125 federal contract from the Defense Logistics Agency in Philadelphia, Pa., for pumps and compressors, according to a Friday press release.
Waterax has offices in Vancouver and Montreal, Quebec. The company specializes in producing pumping equipment to move water in rugged or difficult-to-access locations primarily for wildfire-fighting purposes.
