Letter: Be true to beliefs, if you can

If you voted Republican because you fear socialism, then live your truth. Do not accept Social Security, Medicare or Medicaid. Do not accept food stamps or visit government subsidized food banks. Have a problem? Don’t call 911. Fire and police departments are paid for by our taxes. No going to the libraries or parks. Come to think about it, stay off the streets. And no COVID-19 vaccinations.

If you are truly against socialism, life will truly suck. But you can do it. Be true to your beliefs.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
