Historic Trust hosts women in aviation career panel

The Historic Trust will host a panel presentation, “Awesome Women in Aviation,” from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Pearson Field Education Center, 201 A East Reserve St., Vancouver. Experts will speak about their experiences in aviation careers. The program will be broadcast live from Pearson Field Education Center.

Pearson Field Eduction Center is again open every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. State health and safety guidelines are being followed, including mandatory masks, enhanced cleaning, prepackaged activity kits and limited occupancy. Guests may explore the science and history of flight with hands-on activities, climb into a historic airplane cockpit and operate a flight simulator. The cost is $7 for guests ages 6 and up or free for those receiving SNAP benefits. Reservations are encouraged at www.pearsonfieldeducation.org.
