Letter: Remember congresswoman’s votes

By Beth Hicks, Vancouver

Don’t let her one vote of conscience fool you. Jaime Herrera Beutler, R-Battle Ground, still thinks a vote for major tax breaks for the wealthy and huge corporations that drive up the debt is fine, but votes no on a COVID-19 relief bill that helps everyday American people because all of a sudden the GOP is worried about debt. Remember, the relief bill passed by the previous administration bailed out those large corporations but left small businesses high and dry. Sure, small restaurants couldn’t stay in business, but Jared Kushner’s corporations received millions.

I hope everyone remembers this next election.
