Vancouver Mayor to deliver virtual State of the City on Monday

Vancouver Mayor Anne McEnerny-Ogle will deliver her annual State of the City address in a virtual event on Monday.

According to a media release, McEnerny-Ogle’s speech will highlight the city’s response to a challenging 2020, covering the COVID-19 pandemic, a recession and civil unrest. The speech will also celebrate the community’s resiliency and accomplishments.

The event will begin at 5 p.m. The broadcast will feature closed captioning and American Sign Language translation, and transcripts will be made available in Spanish, Russian and Vietnamese. To request a transcript in another language, email sophie.banner@cityofvancouver.us.
