Letter: Support great police force

By Lori Judkins, Vancouver
Published: May 2, 2021, 2:30pm

As a Vancouver citizen, I strongly oppose the crazy ideas out there about defunding police and no cash bail reform.

These practices should not come to this city. We love our police and support them in all they do. Defunding the police and no cash bail only help the criminals, and are detrimental to the safety and well-being of our community.

Please keep Vancouver from becoming Portland.

Again, we love our police and know they take great care of the community and I, for one, want to make sure this great police force keeps doing their job.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
