Letter: Fortunate to have local ownership

By Richard Keller, president of City Center Redevelopment Authority and Downtown Redevelopment Authority Vancouver
Published: May 6, 2021, 6:00am

All of us as citizens of Vancouver are truly fortunate to benefit from local ownership of The Columbian. There is little doubt the Campbell family has repeatedly chosen community over lucrative offers for their business through the last century. Without the Campbells, there would have been no Vancouver Hilton, convention center nor beautiful City Hall south of Esther Short Park.

We wish the Campbell family well on their next 100 years recording the progress of our growing hometown.
