There is a continuous rise in COVID-19 cases in Vancouver. The amount of cases has risen about 5 percent within the last six weeks (according to Clark County Public Health). Yet, so has the availability to receive the vaccine that would slow this spread down.
As the days become longer and warmer, it will be tempting to resume normal summer activities, however the pandemic is still very much going on and thriving.
The COVID-19 vaccine is now available to all residents of Washington state who are 16 years of age or older. As the number of people getting the vaccine increases so will the opportunity to do the summer activities you love. As for me, I cannot wait until I can step outside, in the Washington sun, and not have to worry about getting a mask tan line on my face.
If you don’t want a mask tan line this summer, get the vaccine.
