PORTLAND — A TriMet bus driver was shot behind the wheel Saturday night while driving passengers, Portland Police said.
A bullet hole was found in the windshield, and the driver was being treated for an apparent gunshot wound to the shoulder at an area hospital, according to police. The incident happened near Northeast 102nd Avenue and Northeast Halsey Street.
There were no reports of injuries to passengers on the bus. Police are investigating.
TriMet said Sunday that the driver is expected to make a full recovery.
