CLARK COUNTY — Longtime Walk & Knock volunteer Joe Pauletto received the organization’s first Bud Pasmore Volunteer Achievement Award, which recognizes those who have “given their time, energy and heart to the annual Clark County food drive,” according to a news release. The award is named after Bud Pasmore, Walk & Knock’s founder and first president. “Joe has been the quiet, steady rock of Walk & Knock,” current President Tom Knappenberger said. “He’s always been there for us, fills every need and keeps us headed in the right direction.” Pauletto serves on the board of the Clark County Food Bank and was president of Walk & Knock from 2008 to 2011. Walk & Knock takes place each year on the first Saturday of December and solicits donations of nonperishable food, supplies and money for the Clark County Food Bank. The all-volunteer nonprofit organization is comprised of area Lions, Kiwanis, Rotary and other community club members. Visit walkandknock.org for more information.
