Letter: Get vaxxed or get out of health care

After reading about the “caregivers” from PeaceHealth who are refusing to get vaccinated, may I suggest a solution for them: Move to Idaho!

I am so done with the “my choice” baloney I could throw up. Especially from health care workers! The absolute last thing I am interested in doing is going to a medical facility where the staff will expose me to a deadly disease. The “personal choice” argument does not apply when your “personal choice” can sicken or kill every other person you come in contact with.

For a long time, I had empathy for the unvaccinated, but I am now over it. These people are dangerous to everyone else in their community. If you don’t want to get vaccinated, fine. Then permanently confine yourself to your own home 24/7.

And stop with the religious exemption garbage. I don’t know of a single religion that encourages adherents to deliberately infect others with a deadly disease. Seems like that would be somewhat antithetical to the Fifth Commandment.

PeaceHealth: thank you for putting patients first.
