Central Washington’s season might have ended on Saturday, but it was a standout day for Woodland’s Tyler Flanagan.

The Wildcats starting running back scored in about every way possible in a 50-21 loss to No. 3 seeded Northwest Missouri State in the first round on the NCAA Division-II playoffs.

Flanagan had a 1-yard touchdown run, a 7-yard touchdown catch and returned a kickoff 94 yards for a touchdown. The redshirt freshman had 93 rushing yards on 12 carries and four catches for 16 yards.

Along with 237 kick return yards, Flanagan accounted for 346 all-purpose yards on a day when Central Washington’s offense generated just 173 yards.

Flanagan’s 585 rushing yards were second highest for the Great Northwest Athletic Conference champion Wildcats, who finished the season 8-3.
