Letter: Cops violate our rights

There is much debate over the justice in Clark County and the fairness in which people are treated by the Vancouver Police Department and the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

A month or so ago, I was browsing at Powell’s Books in Portland. I came across a book “No Gray Area,” by Michael Kempf, a name I read in letters to the editor in The Columbian. He wrote a lot about social injustice, so I cracked open the book. I purchased it.

After reading it I called Barnes & Noble to see if they carried it. I bought several more copies.

Kempf’s writing was very bold, very direct, and without apology as he speaks of violation of our constitutional rights and human rights, all perpetrated by the two police agencies in Clark County, Washington, USA.

Let there be justice for all. God save America again.
