Letter: Keep LaBrant on port commission

By Nancy Helget, Vancouver

Eric LaBrant is running for commissioner of the Port of Vancouver. I urge you to vote for him.

Eric has served as port commissioner since his election in 2015. During his first term as commissioner, the port received record-breaking revenue every year. Equally important, the port began developing a climate action plan that recognizes port operations’ impact our environment.

Eric is committed to growing port operations responsibly. He’s committed to creating family-wage jobs. And he’s committed to making environmentally sound decisions that benefit our community.

Eric has served us well. Vote to give him another term.
