WOODLAND — Students and staff at North Fork Elementary School recently held a celebration tunnel for retiring head custodian Ed Sorensen. Students clapped and cheered as Principal Denise Pearl pushed Sorensen in a decorated wheelchair. Students also created cards thanking him for his work and wishing him the best in retirement, and staff presented him with a toolkit and other gifts, according to news release from Woodland Public Schools.
