Letter: Support VanNatta in Hockinson

By Bob Burdick, Vancouver
Published: October 13, 2021, 6:00am

Hockinson residents have the opportunity to elect a truly outstanding person to their school board: Teresa VanNatta. Her education, experience and record of community service ideally suit her for this position.

Hockinson currently has no women and no educators on its school board. Teresa will bring a wealth of lived experience as a public school teacher, mother, grandmother and business person. She and her husband are well known for their support of numerous community activities and are people of caring and integrity.

The students and parents in Hockinson will be well served by Teresa VanNatta. They should elect her to their school board.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
