Letter: Help with mental health, addiction

I have to write this letter about mental health and/or addiction. Both are everywhere and we all have our opinions. This is supposed to be mine. Drugs are bad and if you choose to partake, do that crap at home behind closed doors. As for mental health, people need more help and resources. Lack of that encourages individuals to turn to drugs and then adds to both issues.

Take a step back and realize we all need help; we all are human. How can you pay it forward and help someone? Or how can you help someone help another?

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
