How Clark County college football players fared, Sept. 4

Dylan Ingram and Tyler Flanagan help Washington teams to wins

Of the three college football teams in the state of Washington who won this past weekend, players from Clark County played big roles in two victories.

On Friday, Dylan Ingram caught a 25-yard touchdown pass in the first overtime as Eastern Washington beat UNLV 35-33 in double OT. The junior from Camas figures to make an impact at tight end after starting four of the team’s seven games last season.

Also Friday, Tyler Flanagan rushed for a team-high 84 yards and a touchdown in Central Washington’s 66-24 win over Eastern New Mexico. In his first start, the former do-it-all player at Woodland showed what he can do.

Here are some of the top performances from college football players from Clark County this past weekend.

 

Army

Last game: Beat Georgia State 43-10 to improve to 1-0 overall.

Bailey Meek, Ridgefield, Fr., DL — Will likely redshirt.

 

Central Washington

Last game: Beat Eastern New Mexico 66-24 to improve to 1-0 overall.

Isaiah Carbajal, Mountain View, Jr.*, DL — Had three tackles, all solo, and forced a fumble.

Josiah Cochran, Skyview, Fr.*, DL — Did not play.

Dylan Dean, Columbia River, Fr., OL — Did not play.

Tyler Flanagan, Woodland, Fr.*, RB — Rushed for 84 yards on 15 carries, including a 2-yard touchdown run. Also caught two passes for 4 yards.

Kai Gamble, Union, Jr.*, DL — Had two tackles, which were both solo and for a loss.

Jude Mullette, Mountain View, Fr., K — Did not play.

Will Ortner, Hockinson, Sr.*, OL — Started at right guard for an offense that gained 501 yards, including 154 rushing.

Titan Phillips, Camas, Fr.*, TE — Played in a backup role.

Max Randle, Battle Ground, Jr.*, LB — Had two tackles.

College of Idaho

Last game: Lost to Rocky Mountain College 33-30 to fall to 1-1 both overall and in the NAIA Frontier Conference

Next game: Southern Oregon, Saturday, Sept. 18, 1 p.m.

Isaiah Abdul, Camas, Sr., DB — Made one solo tackle, broke up one pass and blocked an extra-point attempt.

 

Colorado School of Mines

Last game: Beat Western Oregon 42-3 to improve to 1-0 overall.
