CHELAN — All evacuation levels related to the Twentyfive Mile Fire were lifted Monday at noon, according to Chelan County Emergency Management.

The fire, which has burned 21,373 acres, is 50% contained, according to the fire management press release.

Firefighters are continuing to connect and strengthen the fireline northward along the Devils Backbone toward Angle Peak. They are also assessing options to solidify the fire’s northwest edge as vegetation becomes more sparse and before fall weather patterns begin to limit options.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
