I was saddened to learn that Temple Lentz has decided not to run for reelection to the Clark County Council. While only serving on the council for a single term, she has shown clearheadedness, integrity and courage in working for the people of Clark County. The recent kerfuffle over redrawing the district map for the election of council members is a good example.
We should all hope we can find others of her caliber to serve in public office. And maybe we should hope to see her name on the ballot again in the future.
