Letter: Light rail is best choice

The Columbian Editorial Board deserves praise for its brave change of heart in support of light rail on the new interstate bridge (“In Our View: Light rail on I-5 Bridge right for today, tomorrow,” The Columbian, April 24). It’s the best option for the future of our community and will accelerate the development of Vancouver’s downtown and waterfront. My family is tired of planning our professional and social lives around bridge traffic. For anyone else who is willing to rethink their position on the issue, there is room for all in the light (rail).

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
