Letter: Thanks to cleanup volunteers

By Carl Alban, Ridgefield
Published: April 27, 2022, 6:00am

I am writing to call attention to the work of Suzanne and Patrick Henry, and their team of volunteers. They and their team have been dedicating several hours every Sunday to remove trash from Interstates 5 and 205.

They provide their own safety gear and trash bags and pay the fee to dump the bags. Helping to keep Washington beautiful is an effort in which everyone can participate, the results of which can be celebrated by all.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
