Columbia Springs, an environmental education nonprofit, is offering a paid internship this fall for local youth between the ages of 18 and 24. The Youth Environmental Leadership Program aims to provide hands-on work experience, inform interns about environmental sustainability in the region and foster interest in science education.

Interns are expected to work 165 hours over 15 weeks (11 hours/week) from Sept. 12 to Dec. 21. Interns will receive a $2,475 stipend.

Those interested must fill out a program application form by Aug. 23, which can be found on Columbia Springs’ website at https://www.columbiasprings.org/yelp.
