KEY MOMENTS: Walla Walla scored twice in the third, fifth and eighth innings to hold off the Raptors. … Ridgefield left two runners on base in scoring position in the fifth and sixth innings when it scored its runs.

KEY PLAYERS: Leo Rivera of the Sweets played all nine positions and was 1 for 4 with an RBI. The Whitman College senior from Seattle started as the catcher, moved to first base, then second, then shortstop, then third, then left field, then centerfield, then right field, and then he closed the game on the mound with a scoreless ninth inning. … Travis Welker was 2 for 4 with a run scored for the Raptors.

NEXT GAME: Corvallis (38-13 overall, 20-5 second half) at Ridgefield (30-20, 14-10), 6:35 p.m. Friday.
