Minifig building contest seeks entrants

Columbia Play Project will host its first Bricktastic! Competition and Showcase from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 17 at the Clark College STEM Building, 1950 Fort Vancouver Way, Vancouver.

Admission is free and guests can vote for their favorites. Participants are invited to create structures out of Lego or similar interlocking bricks to display at the showcase. Anyone can enter and the deadline to apply is Sept. 10. There is no cost to enter. Prizes will be awarded to the best in show, best in category and best from a child age 10 or under. All creations must be original and not built from a kit. Entrants may submit in more than one category. To apply, visit columbiaplayproject.org/events.
